Chief Strategy Officer

John Speed is Chief Strategy Officer of Felner Corporation, where he focuses on strategic growth, client relationships, and expanding service capabilities across the firm’s commercial and community association portfolio. With more than 10 years of experience in real estate and property management, his work blends operations and business development, with a particular emphasis on helping clients navigate both day-to-day challenges and long-term opportunities.

Prior to joining Felner, John owned and operated WFL Real Estate Services, a boutique, multi-platform real estate firm serving residential, commercial, and community association clients. Through that work, he developed a hands-on management approach rooted in responsiveness, practical problem solving, and enduring client relationships.

At Felner, John has helped advance the firm’s ancillary service offerings while continuing to advise ownership groups and boards on governance, capital planning, and strategies to enhance long-term asset value. A licensed Real Estate Broker and Connecticut-certified community association manager (CAM), he holds a degree in Economics from University of Connecticut, is fluent in Spanish, and lives in Fairfield with his wife. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, travel, and home improvement projects.
